DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT

1. Which account this covers

This page covers your MythWeaver account, used across the MythWeaver web app and the MythWeaver: AI TTRPG Assistant mobile app, published by Bitmischief Inc. One account is used everywhere, so deleting it removes your access to all of them.

2. How to request deletion

To delete your account and its associated data:

• Email [email protected] from the email address registered to your MythWeaver account.
• Use the subject line Delete my account.
• We will confirm the request by replying to that same address, which is how we verify the request came from the account holder.

Once confirmed, the account is deleted on the timeline in section 3. If you email us from an address that is not on the account we cannot action the request, because we have no way to establish that it is yours.

3. What is deleted, and when

• Personal data: deleted within 30 days. This includes your email address, display name, and account profile.
• Your content: deleted within 30 days. This includes campaigns, sessions, lore, characters, generated images, and uploaded session recordings.
• Content shared with a campaign: may persist for the other members of that campaign. Material you contributed to a shared campaign does not disappear from other people's copies of it.

4. What is kept, and for how long

• Payment records: retained as required for tax and legal compliance, typically 7 years.
• Backups: may be retained for up to 90 days for disaster recovery, after which they age out.
• Anonymised analytics: may be retained indefinitely in aggregate form. This carries no information that identifies you.

5. Deleting some data without closing your account

You do not have to close your account to remove your work. Campaigns, sessions, lore entries, characters, and generated images can each be deleted from inside the app, and doing so leaves the rest of your account intact.
